The intention of every word I write

In all of my writings my goal is to lead you deeper into “The Book” which is the definition of the word Bible. The reason for this is not that you would only know the words that are written in “The Book/The Bible”, but that you will have conversation with the Author and hear His voice as He speaks to you. It is in hearing the additional words that He speaks to you individually, which confirm what He has written to all, that you will be blessed with knowing Him in a deeper personal relationship.

THE PLAN

Introduction

This book was originally called the Kind Kings Plan and as you read it you will see why. God has a plan for all of humanity to experience Him and His love in living for His will. His plan is so much better then any plan we could make for our life. His plan is the only place where we can find fulfillment, contentment, purpose and the love we are designed to live in. His plan is really simple at it core. My hope is that you will read and for those that have an ear to hear you will live out His plan with Him.

THE PAST IS…. Past!

Introduction

This is a powerful book that was written to help all to be completely free from any thing of the past. It sounds so simple to make a statement like that, right? This book backs up that statement with God’s hart and word. It will enable all who are willing to just hold on to Him more than the past to walk in the freedom He as paid for them to enjoy. Freedom like everything is a choice, so my hope is that you will choose to simply believe what God says about your past. When you choose to take God at His word you will be free from the past as you walk with God in his love and freedom every step of the way.

Latest Writing Unconditional Love!

The conditions of experiencing unconditional love…. COME LET US REASON…

Before reading this please note that many definitions are used in order to help establish the true meaning of words and understand what is intended in there context.  Words are powerful things. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God. Jesus said  “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Death and life are in the power of the tongue that formulates and speaks words.  Also while reading this please understand that at some point you may say this is all just head knowledge or intellectualism. God is the most intellectually powerful thinker and we are created in His image and likeness, which means we also have as part of His image and likeness a mind with intellectual ability. Ours is limited (yet still powerful) His is not limited but infinite.

Jesus said in Mark 1:15 “Repent and believe in the gospel.”

The word for repent means to change one's mind and the word for believe means to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in.

The apostle Peter said the following in the book of Act 3:19 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord”

In that passage we see that repenting leads to being converted and your sins being blotted out.

In the book of acts chapter 16 there is a story of the apostle Paul and Silas while they were imprisoned. Through some miraculous activities and interaction with the person that was in charge of the prison asked Paul and Silas this question.

“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will you will be saved, you and your household.”

Remember the word believe means to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in. When Paul said believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, he was saying change your thinking about who Jesus is. Think that He is Lord think that He is the only one who can save you. The jailer decided to think and trust in Jesus with the results that “he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.”

Please note that the jailer herd the message that included the salvation of his household. I believe that is the heart of God. First and foremost a household is the place where a family lives. Then it can be a place where guest come to stay and finally, in those days, it was a place that the people who made enough money would have servants living with them. The message of the gospel is God wants all to be saved.

2 Peter 3:9” The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

God starts in the household with the family. I have found that the thing the adversary of God hates the most is the family. It is his primary objective to rob, kill and destroy families. I believe this is because a family is comprised of three parts a husband, a wife and a child. The following  may sound like heresy but  please hear me out on this. The Godhead is a picture of the family.

God the Father is easy to see and understand in the scriptures (John 20:17, Romans 1:7 and many others). God the Son Jesus is easy to see and understand in the scriptures (Matthew 14:33, Mark 1:1, Luke 22:70, John 10:36 and many others.) Now for the member of the family that many will have trouble with…. In Genesis chapter one it states

Gen 1:2

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

In the Hebrew language ever scholar in including Strong, Brown-Driver-Briggs and Gesenius (to name a few) have rendered  the word Spirt is a feminine noun. You may say well that is the Spirit of God not the Holy Spirit. In Psalm 51:11 it states “Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.” In that passage, like most in the old testament, the word for the Spirit of God or Holy Spirit are in the feminine noun form. This is the part that most will struggle with but hear the whole matter before coming to a conclusion. Family the way God defines it is a father, mother and a child. God defined as a Father, Son Jesus and….. Hold on…. A Mother in the person of the Holy Spirit. There it is I said it. KEEP READING…. God is comprised of three persons who are God, which is commonly called the trinity. Man was created one person that had two genders inside of him. Yikes more heresy! No lets read the word of God.

Gen 1:27

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Gen 2:21-22

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

All scholars agree that the word Adam is a masculine noun and the word rib is a feminine noun. In this we see that Adam before Eve was taking out of him was a masculine noun with a feminine noun inside of him. Please do not think in any way this is to be used to endorse the transgender (LGBT) agenda. Adam is the only person that biblically is noted any person having this occur. I believe God did this to show us how we are created in His image and likeness.  I made the statement Family the way God defines it is a father, mother and a child. This is not to say that if you never get married or never have a child you are not a part of a family. Gods design for the propagation of humanity is the family. Family it is a type of who God is as noted in the trinity and we are made in His likeness and Image.  God makes it clear as to His plan for the family.

Gen 2:24

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

When God used the phrases “joined together” and “become one flesh”. In those phrases there are many implications and facets to be considered. The primary consideration is that God is establishing and defining the covenant of marriage. Later in the scriptures God answers the question why He designed marriage this way.

Malachi 2:15

But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one?

He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously  (divorce) with the wife of his youth.

This is why God hates divorce

Malachi 2:16

“For the LORD God of Israel says That He hates divorce,  For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the LORD of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.”

Covers means to cover for protection and violence means wrong, cruelty, injustice.

God is saying divorce takes that which is supposed to be a covering for protection and turns into a thing of cruelty and injustice. Who does God say it effects? “One’s garment.” Who did God make one In Genesis it is a husband and wife. In them being joined together in the flesh a husband and a wife produce children. It is the children of divorce who’s garment is no longer protected and is in a state of violence, cruelty and injustice. Even in the most amiable separation of two parents the child will experience the injustice that God stated based on God is always true and right in all His ways.

How does all this relate to the conditions of experiencing unconditional love? In a family people will say that a mothers love is unconditional. Let us reason through that way of thinking. To prove her Love for a child a mother puts conditions on her child. Do not lie, do not take things that are not yours, be nice to others. While she is training a child to do these things she is teaching the child the characteristics of love as noted in the scriptures in Rom 13:10

“Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”

While she is involved in the child’s life the mother will do all she can to implement the characteristics of love. When the child fails to do so, if the mother loves the child she will

IT IS A COMMAND TO LOVE GOD AND OTHERS BACK

IF you think love does not need to be reciprocated then you will not reciprocate love because as a man thinks so he is. You may be right, but your thinking will lead you into a life that misses out on the joy of reciprocation. His commandments are not burdensome.

1Jo 5:3

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

Mark 12:29-33

29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’[fn] This is the first commandment.[fn] 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[fn] There is no other commandment greater than these.”

32 So the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. 33 And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul,[fn] and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

1 John 4:19

We love Him because He first loved us.

Proverbs 30:5

Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.

Pure means to test and prove true.

Word means a speech sound or series of speech sounds that symbolizes and communicates a meaning

Romans 11:34

For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

Please note that the word mind (nooce) is defined by Strong’s (G3563) in the following way: the mind, comprising alike the faculties of perceiving and understanding and those of feeling, judging, determining

the intellectual faculty, the understanding, reason in the narrower sense, as the capacity for spiritual truth, the higher powers of the soul, the faculty of perceiving divine things, of recognizing goodness and of hating evil, the power of considering and judging soberly, calmly and impartially, a particular mode of thinking and judging, i.e thoughts, feelings, purposes, desires

This clearly joins the mind and feelings together as well as “capacity for spiritual truth” (as underlined in the definition. The word mind as defined is used several times in the bible as noted below. The term imperative is implanted in the sentence to show that God as a matter of importance commands us to participate in the action described. For the full understanding of the imperative I have noted its definition at a later point in this document.

One reason that people think that they can feel something without thinking it first is because they do not take into consideration how the mind works. The mind is comprised of many parts the two primary are conscience and the sub-conscience. Most all people think that the majority of their thinking and the decisions they make are made out of their conscience mind. Without a doubt  that is not the case. If you spend a little time researching this it will not take long to find out what scientific studies say about the topic. Here is one example “Current scientific estimates are that some 95 percent of brain activity is unconscious, says Emma Young in New Scientist magazine. These include habits and patterns, automatic body function, creativity, emotions, personality, beliefs and values, cognitive biases, and long-term memory.”

Another thing to consider is that not only do we have a physical mind we also have a spiritual mind. Before knowing Christ based on the price He paid to redeem us from sin and death our minds live in a state of futility with many other effects as noted in Ephesians 4:17-19.

“This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;  who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”

Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

In that passage the word mind is dianoia in the original Greek text and it means “the mind as a faculty of understanding, feeling, desiring”

Another aspect to consider is to understand love or the term unconditional love we must go beyond our subconscious thinking which is comprised of all the thoughts that have been stored in our subconscious mind. In considering this one difficulty is even if a brand new truth is introduced into your mind science proves that our subconscious mind will over ride it in the way will think and feel unless the new truth is re-enforced over time in repetition.

The following is based on scientific study

Scientists have found evidence that people who practice mindful meditation are more aware of their unconscious brain activity, leading to a feeling of conscious control over their bodies

In the next few verses we see that the word understanding and mind are used in place of each other by translators. The study, by researchers from the University of Sussex in the UK, questions previous experiments examining the nature of free will and how many of our decisions are made unconsciously.

Many Christians think that meditation is bad and was created by the enemy of God. Well, let us look at what God says about it.

Joshua 1:8

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Meditate means to moan, growl, utter, muse, devise, plot, speak… in this we see that God’s view of meditation has included into it the following sounds: moan, growl, utter and speak. It also has included into it the following thought process: muse, devise, and plot.

Here is an example of the verbal aspect.

Psalm 35:28

And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

Here is an example of non-verbal aspect.

Psalm 143:5

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

The word muse there can be verbal or to meditate, consider, study, ponder, put forth thoughts.

In the new testament we read

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The definition for the word renewing is as follows by Vines expository dictionary.

"the renewing (of your mind)," i.e., the adjustment of the moral and spiritual vision and thinking to the mind of God, which is designed to have a transforming effect upon the life.

Luke 24:45

Then opened he their understanding, (G3563) that they might understand the scriptures,

Rom 12:2

And be (Imperative) not conformed to this world: but be (Imperative) transformed by the renewing of your mind, (G3563) that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1Co 2:16

For who hath known the mind (G3563) of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind (G3563) of Christ.

Eph 4:23

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; (G3563)

Phl 4:7

And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, G3563 shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The conditions of unconditional love

To understand the conditions of unconditional love we must first understand the definition of the word condition

Verb: have a significant influence on or determine (the manner or outcome of something).

These understanding are clearly part of the following verse.

John 3:36

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

The condition of believing or not believing determines the outcome of having everlasting life or not seeing life and having the wrath of God abiding on a person.

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

John 3 :16-18  “For God so loved (motive) the world that He gave (manifestation or action) His only begotten Son, that whoever believes (condition = dependent clause)

in Him should not perish but have everlasting life  (result = independent clause)

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved….(The motive or purpose for Jesus coming was not condemnation) …. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

but if you do not fulfill the condition of believing then result is condemnation

This clearly teaches that if you do not respond to love then you do not experience the benefits of God’s love.

1 Jo 4:19

We love Him because He first loved us. VERB IS ACTIVE = we take the action of loving as a fact, in other words we Reciprocate love because of His love.

1Jo 4:10

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

signifying that He Himself, through the expiatory sacrifice(GIVING) of His Death, is the Personal means by whom God shows mercy (to the sinner who believes)(condition is believing)  on Christ as the One thus provided. In the former passage He is described as "the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world." The italicized addition in the AV, "the sins of," gives a wrong interpretation. What is indicated is that provision is made for the whole world, so that no one is, by Divine predetermination, excluded from the scope of God's mercy; the efficacy of the "propitiation," however, is made actual for those who believe.

1Jo 4:11

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. =  Verb is present active as a fact

LOVE is the motive to live a life of giving…. True love Gives which means that Love Cost… God so loved… He Gave…

MORE CONDITIONAL LOVE
Pro 8:17

I love those who love me,

And those who seek me diligently will find me.

THIS is not to say that Gods love is not always going out to those that do no not love Him but the fulness of the experience of His love is only found by those that reciprocate love back to Him. Which is a condition for the experience of love. In others words no reciprocation means no realization or actuation of love.  Which means there is a condition to the experience of Gods love.

1Co 16:22

If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed.O Lord, come!

1Co 8:3

But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.

The word If is noted as such by Grammar.yourdictinary.com

In fact, "if" is the most common conditional conjunction used in conditional sentences.

To understand what a conditional sentence is Mandonna university has published the follow PDF online

WHAT IS A CONDITIONAL SENTENCE? Conditional sentences have two parts or clauses that give a condition in the dependent clause and a result in the independent clause. The condition clause usually contains an if statement. There are several different forms of conditional sentences that allow the writer to express various meanings using different tenses. • Condition (if) clause + result clause ZERO CONDITIONAL The zero conditional uses the present tense in both clauses and is used to talk about something that is always or generally true. The present tense signifies that these actions are both possible and typical. Form: If + simple present, simple present

Example 1: If it rains, I take an umbrella with me to work.

Example 2: If I wake up early, I always read in bed.

FIRST CONDITIONAL The first conditional uses the present tense in the if clause and the future tense in the result clause. This form is used to talk about something that is a probable future result of a condition. Form: If + simple present, will + base verb

Example 1: If I see you later, I will say hello. (as noted in John 14:23)

Example 2: If I don’t see you later, I won’t be able to say hello.

Jhn 12:26

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

Conditional clauses can begin with unless. Unless means something similar to ‘if … not’ or ‘except if’.

Here is more truth about the use of words in a conditional sentence. As noted below the word unless is similar to if in a conditional clause

Conditional clauses can begin with unlessUnless means something similar to ‘if … not’ or ‘except if’.

The verb forms in the examples are similar to sentences with if: we use the present simple in the unless-clause and shall, should, will, would, can, could, may or might in the main clause:

The origin of unconditional love

Coined by German psychoanalyst Erich Fromm in 1934, the concept was developed in his 1956 book, The Art Of Loving. His ideas were refined in the 1960s by the humanist psychologist Carl Rogers (https://www.theguardian.com)

There are conditions to become a child of God

John 1:12

But as many as received Him (condition), to them He gave the right to become children of God (result), to those who believe in His name. (condition)

There are conditions to see and enter the kingdom of God.

John 3:3

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again (condition), he cannot see the kingdom of God (result).”

John 3:5

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit (condition) , he cannot enter the kingdom of God (result).

Does God command us to an action based upon the price He paid?

For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Corresponds to the English imperative, and expresses a command to the hearer to perform a certain action by the order and authority of the one commanding. Thus, Jesus' phrase, "Repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mk.1:15) is not at all an "invitation," but an absolute command requiring full obedience on the part of all hearers.

God paid to buy us and He commands that we are to glorify Him which means

to think, suppose, be of opinion

to praise, extol, magnify, celebrate

to honor, do honor to, hold in honor

to make glorious, adorn with lustre, clothe with splendour

to impart glory to something, render it excellent

to make renowned, render illustrious

to cause the dignity and worth of some person or thing to become manifest and acknowledged.

therefore it is a command to honor Him in your Him in body and spirit as a response to His

Ephesians  5:1

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.  imperative…as before a command.

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Ephesians  5:2

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

“Walk in love is” an imperative based on Christ action of love and the proof of that love is Him giving himself.

Verb is present active imperative. WE are to take the action of love a imperative Corresponds to the English imperative, and expresses a command to the hearer to perform a certain action by the order and authority of the one commanding.

1 Corinthians 6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Active imperative…as before a command that you are to preform

Glorify God in your body and spirit is the command  of God, and the following is the definition for Glorify:

to think, suppose, be of opinion

to praise, extol, magnify, celebrate

to honor, do honor to, hold in honor

to make glorious, adorn with luster, clothe with splendor

to impart glory to something, render it excellent

to make renowned, render illustrious

to cause the dignity and worth of some person or thing to become manifest and acknowledged

Based on these truths how can we reconcile the other side of the coin that implies unconditional love as noted in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;  does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;  bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

In looking at 1 Corinthians 13 there is sooo much to consider. One thing to consider is what is the genesis of love? The word of God states

1Jo 4:16

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

In that passage we see that love is both a verb and a noun. The verb is “the love that God has for us” and the noun is “God is love”. Again, let us look at the definition of conditions and reason through this.

Noun: the circumstances affecting the way in which people live or work, especially with regard to their safety or well-being.

Verb: have a significant influence on or determine (the manner or outcome of something).

In 1 Corinthians 13 it starts out with the action of what is not love.

In verse one we read “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.”

The action (verb) speaking with tongues of men and of angels without love has the results of  becoming sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. The words “sounding brass” are very important in this verse. Let’s begin our study today with the word “brass.” It comes from the Greek word chalkos, an old word that referred to metal. However, it wasn’t just any metal; it was bronze or copper to which a small amount of tin had been added. This tin caused the metal to have a hollow, empty sound when it was beaten. That is why Paul also used the word “sounding” — the Greek word echo, which described a noise that reverberates or echoes. When these two words were used together, they portrayed the endless beating of metal that produces a hollow, annoying, irritating echo that seems to eternally reverberate.

So when Paul wrote about a “sounding brass,” he borrowed an illustration from the pagan world of Corinth to make his point about super-spiritual people who demonstrate no love. The illustration he chose to use was the endless, nonstop, annoying, aggravating, irritating, frenzied beating and clanging of brass that was performed in pagan worship and that echoed ceaselessly throughout the city of Corinth. The citizens of Corinth could never escape the endless banging of this metal, so this was an illustration everyone in the Corinthian church could readily comprehend. In other words it was not a good thing. Doing things out of anything other than love is not a good thing. Jesus once said

Luke 18:19

So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.

I believe this brings us to the noun. God is love. It also is going to connect the concept that Love has condition.

The noun definition for condition is: the state of something with regard to its appearance, quality, or working order.

The definition for sate is: the particular condition that someone or something is in at a specific time.

In this we see that the word state is connected to the pronoun “someone”, which refers a person or an individual.

In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love’s action described in “Love…does not seek its own”. Remember God is love and love is both an action and a noun. God who is love and lives out the condition or state of being love both as a person (in appearance, quality and working order or disposition of His personal inherent qualities of mind and character)

as well as in His actions (verb).

1 John 4:7-8

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.  In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

The phrase “everyone that loves who loves is born of God”. This points us to the following scriptures.

1 John 5:1

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God

John 20:31

but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

John 3:7

“Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.

John 3:14-15

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Here is the story that Jesus was referring to:

Numbers 21:4-9

Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way. And the people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.” 6 So the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD and against you; pray to the LORD that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. Then the LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”  So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

Jesus used the illustration of the serpent being lifted up in the wilderness to point people to believing in what He did on the cross so they should not perish but have eternal life.

So what does this all have to do with Love as a noun. Jesus is God as noted in Romans 9:5 ” Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.” God is Love 1 John 4:7 therefore Jesus is Love. Everything we read in 1 Corinthians 13 are the very core of who Jesus is and the actions that He lived out perfectly.

In first John chapter four verse seven, eight and sixteen it states “God is Love”

Most people that have read the bible will say that 1 Corinthians 13 is the greatest chapter on the topic of love. In verses 4-8 we read

Modern day culture states God’s love is unconditional. The definition of the word “Unconditional” is: not conditional or limited. The word “Conditional” is defined as: subject to, implying, or dependent upon a condition. Cambridge Dictionary states a “Condition” is the particular state that something or someone is in. Therefor if God’s love was in a particular state of not being long suffering then it would not abide by the condition that is described as love, which means there are conditions in regards to God’s love. God’s love thinks no evil. Not thinking evil is a particular state of being and is there for defined as a condition.

The origin of unconditional love is not found in the saying is from the Roman poet Virgil (“omnia vincit amor,” Eclogue X) rather than from Scripture (https://pemptousia.com/2016/12/the-myth-of-unconditional-lovw/) .
